I think that you’ve successfully added some more information that clarifies what lipid metabolism is. I would maybe try to make some sentences flow better, though. For example, I would say “The breakdown of lipids in the mammalian system begins in the mouth with chemical digestion. Then the lipids travel to the stomach, where mechanical digestion, or peristalsis, takes place.” Other than that, I would say that you have a good take on what lipid metabolism is. Great job!
