Survey Invite
[edit]I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they effect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 16:57, 24 June 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Eugenics. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 03:47, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
It was not opinion. The previous subtitle was very long and more a descriptive paragraph than a subtitle. It was also more opinion-oriented than the new neutral subtitle I wrote. Chuck Mall 14:37, 30 March 2020 (UTC)

Sad that you guys chose to delete a well-researched article about a person connected to a famous writer—Laura Ingalls Wilder—due to outside pressure from the subject. If we are going to cater to every living person who wants a hagiography or else, you will not have a reliable resource. It will be akin to Buzzfeed.

Short Desc on Redirect Pages
[edit]Hi! I'm @IAmChaos:. I noticed that on the page Pinewood Atlanta Studios, you added a shortdescription. While you are allowed to add these to redirect pages, I wanted to remind you that they should be placed UNDER the first line of the redirect like such:
#REDIRECT [[Target]] {{Short description|Your text here}}
You can see how putting the description above breaks the redirect in this Diff.Please see Wikipedia:Short description#Short descriptions on redirect pages if you have any more questions. Happy Editing--IAmChaos 08:29, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
