WHGI/WIGI
[edit]Hiya Max, hope this message reaches you. First, thanks for http://whgi.wmflabs.org – always interesting to re-discover when it comes up in browsing. Two questions:
- Is there some place on-wiki where we can discuss it? The page links to a defunct Google Group, but it would be nice if Wikipedians could discuss it on-wiki somewhere, whether in the English Wikipedia (enwp) or Meta or somewhere else. (It also took me a while to find your page, as most wmflabs landing pages link to their maintainer or some on-wiki discussion area.)
- The Y-axis label on the "Changes" graph here always throws me off since it should be "New biographies" rather than "Total biographies", no?

- Hi Czar, thank for the good feedback on the graph. I'll investigate if it's easy to change that (haven't looked in a while). I'm pleased you want to discuss the numbers. I know one place that happens is with one of the main users of the site Wikipedia:Women in Red, at least there you might find out about how the statistics are being used. I can answer technical questions about how the data is being created. Unfortunately the only other central place I can think of was the Grant page: meta:Grants:IEG/WIGI: Wikipedia Gender Index. Thanks again for your suggestions. Maximilianklein (talk) 15:43, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
