Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited UNIQUe Certification, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Menon. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:56, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Look, i said i'm sorry in the commit message. I am not up to this task on a deep level and everything i touch breaks. Please just leave me alone. 56independent/notacoworcatTalk 12:36, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Hi! I'm afraid i'm more of a railfan. I do like how road junctions work, but i despise personal cars. They waste space which could be compressed onto a few train seats.

COI violation on Fort Belan

[edit]

It seems that a COI violation was committed by User:56independent on [commit].

Looking into data, it seems 56independent has a family link to Fort Belan and should not have made this edit.

Please remove your account as soon as possibe. 134.255.241.135 (talk) 14:43, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! These edits were made almost a year ago, before i even knew what a COI volation was (whoops!). I don't think removing my account is a solution here, but if anyone is willing to provide a good solution, i'm here to hear it 56independent/notacoworcatTalk
In my opinion you get a bye on this, for a non-controversial addition to an article. David notMD (talk) 04:42, 9 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism warning

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jonesey95. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Wikipedia:Typo Team have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:00, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dear User:Jonsey95, Humor helps all on Wikipedia. It raises morale. So i thought that "101", in the context of the paragraph discussing OCR text replacing Is with 1s, i thought it would help raise moral to use "i0i" instead as a form of in-joke and reminder of the content of the paragraph, which also helps information reception ("Why is it i0i...? Oh yeah haha"). 56independent/notacoworcatTalk 22:04, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your edit was vandalism. Please refrain from vandalizing pages in the future. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:06, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I did not know it was vandalism. I just thought Wikipedians would like to see some good humor here and there. 56independent (talk) 22:08, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please take a moment to update your signature

[edit]

Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your signature does not contain a link to your user page, your user talk page, or your contributions page.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Change the signature to make the signature appear how you want it to appear.
  3. Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.

More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 22:05, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete image caption

[edit]

In this edit it seems you inadvertently left off the end of the caption. I would also be interested in knowing the sourcing of the information about this particular person and their situation. Danthemankhan 15:14, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
