Advice
[edit]I would suggest you find some suitable topic interest on Wikipedia and find a place to edit there, rather than trying to edit user pages that have little to do with the project. We are not a social networking site; while I do appreciate you trying to make friends, the best way to do this is to find relevant topic areas and to build up your experience making and discussing topic improvements. Maybe start at Portal:Contents and find something interesting you may like? Or join WP:GOCE where you could help clean up typos on the project. :) Awesome Aasim 14:57, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- I edit when I come across something that needs editing Not a kitsune (talk) 16:28, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- That was also me in my early days :) I just wanted to highlight this because a lot of times we get people who use Wikipedia exclusively as a social network. Have you considered hanging out in the teahouse? You can get more familiar with the Wikipedia way in that forum. Awesome Aasim 21:27, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
- I realized that I didn't actually comunicate everything that I thought i did, so here it is.
- I know that Wikipedia is not social media,I know the rules, I actually sometimes I read the rules to entertain myself (not a joke by the way). The reason why I only rarely edit is because I'm not very familiar with the (for lack of a better word) "code" for Wikipedia, so when I found out about wikifauna,I Immediately began trying to find one that described that.
