There are a lot of problems with this article. First of all, the title, Unionist Party, implies that the article is about a party with that proper name. There is no such party that I am aware of and the article makes no reference to such a party. The first sentence says "A Unionist, later Unconditional Unionist, was a political label, started after Compromise of 1850, to define politicians who supported the Compromise." A "label" is obviously different from a party. For example see the article Southern Unionist. At the least the article name needs to be changed.

What did happen after the Compromise of 1850 is described at Georgia Platform#Unionists versus Southern Rights Parties and Georgia Platform#Repercussions. So based on the first sentence of this article, it seems that the state parties in Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama are what this article should be about. Everything in the article after the first paragraph in the section "Origins" is unrelated to the apparent topic of the article and is repetitive of information contained elsewhere.
