Thanks for uploading Image:Upper Soda Springs Resort.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Siskiyou History Link

Hi there~ I am basing my judgement of that link on info from this page on what to include: "Sites that contain neutral and accurate material not already in the article. Ideally this content should be integrated into the Wikipedia article, then the link would remain as a reference, but in some cases this is not possible for copyright reasons or because the site has a level of detail which is inappropriate for the Wikipedia article."

And not include: "In general, any site that does not provide a unique resource beyond what the article here would have once it becomes an example of brilliant prose."

It just seems to me that that link isn't quite ready for "prime time," and currently is more of a Dunsmuir site. Also, I see no info on the site that mentions Ashland or Grants Pass, or any connection between the trail and those two places besides the map (which doesn't list city names). Sorry if I missed it. It's not a terrible link, but I think it would be better added when the site has more info on it. It is always better to add content on the Siskiyou Trail, which I agree is an important part of Oregon history, to those two articles. It seems like the wikilink to the Siskiyou Trail article gets you there. I could be wrong--I have a bias against cluttered external link subsections.

Thanks for discussing it instead of starting a revert war. Go ahead and add it back if you wish, I just don't think it adds anything to those articles...yet, and it seems perfectly fine to have it on the Siskiyou Trail page, where the curious will certainly find it.

P.S. Do you live in Dunsmuir? Neat place.
