A tag has been placed on Josephina Sykes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ninety:one (reply on my talk) 23:56, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Come on. It says right above this sentence what to do: read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. In the meantime, stop adding the text. You may find yourself blocked if you continue without following procedure. ninety:one (reply on my talk) 22:59, 5 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Plaguers, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I really don't get the issue for deleting the page for Plaguers. It's a movie that's been released recently, I provided links, I donate all the copyrighted materials. Please help, don't destroy. Wikipedia it's very hard to use, so it's hard to understand what the real issue is. Thanks. NolaX(NolaX (talk) 04:23, 24 February 2010 (UTC))[reply]

Notability

[edit]

You might want to check out our notability guidelines. You'll need to be sure that anyone you write about meets those requirements... - Philippe 04:53, 24 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, of course it does! Similar movies have their own pages on Wikipedia! Same with its director Brad Sykes. He has his own page on Wikipedia. All these things can be checked. Please upload the info I gave you to create and edit a movie page for Plaguers. This process should be simpler! Thanks-NolaX (NolaX (talk) 04:57, 24 February 2010 (UTC))[reply]

about Plaguers film....

[edit]

Please do not include cut-n-paste accolades or promotionals from other websites. As good as your intentions might be, such is a violation of their copyright and is unacceptable in Wikipedia. You might notice that I have myself performed some expansion and cleanup to the article to bring it into line with expected and preferred styles for such articles, and that everything I have added can be traced back to a source outside of Wikipedia... but not directly copied from that outside source. Please feel free to write me over at User talk:MichaelQSchmidt, and I can share in more depth what is good for the article and what is not. Also, please read the page I am creating at "Newcomer's guide to guidelines" to get a rough idea of what the rules here are all about and how they aply to article writing. Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Plaguers, you will be blocked from editing. Svick (talk) 21:28, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is your final warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Plaguers.   — Jeff G. ツ 21:34, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for a period of 24 hours from editing for persistent vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below; but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
