Image without license

[edit]

Unspecified source for Image:Norayr Mnatsakanyan.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Norayr Mnatsakanyan.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:08, 24 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Norayr Mnatsakanyan.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sdrtirs (talk) 20:10, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

Sorry, but the inclusion of that list of YouTube links is inappropriate, and those do not belong there. It is on you to show that (some of) these links are appropriate, and the place for that is on the talkpage. For more information, see the external links guideline

The article, however, is VERY poorly sourced. Please read the Verifyability policy and The reliable sources guideline as to what are proper sources for this, and how to use those.

I am sorry, but if you continue to include this information, per WP:3RR, you will be blocked and not be allowed to edit the article. --Dirk Beetstra T C 22:24, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Note, you are actually at one contested insertion and 3 reversions - please keep to the talkpage and get consensus there. --Dirk Beetstra T C 22:31, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Note 2: that you are the biographer of the subject does give you somewhat of a 'conflict of interest' - please be careful with that as well. --Dirk Beetstra T C 22:33, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

For example, the AMPTV-videos that are now hardlinked to YouTube, are they also available like this interview. If that is the case, that is a more proper way of linking the video than on YouTube directly. After all, Armenia 1 is the real and original publisher, not YouTube, they are just hosting it. --Dirk Beetstra T C 23:27, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And I re-removed the Facebook - that one is not a reliable source, that contains only re-published info (if it is true), and if it is not re-published it may just not be true, and the information is 'changing' - . Please link the original sources appropriately.

Also, please attribute the sentences in the text on the Wikipage with the reference that supports it (and for video's it is nice if that also has the right time when that supporting statement is made) - as it is now, it is impossible to check the Wikipedia text with the references, whether which references supports which statement and whether all the references are actually needed to support the statements in the text, or whether they are merely a 'extra info'/'further reading'/'external links'-type of information. --Dirk Beetstra T C 23:31, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:39, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
