On 17 April 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Party (Andy Shauf album), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. Hi,
could you please specify the reason for decline and help me how I can improve the article?
Maymooncuk (talk) 13:33, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
@Maymooncuk: Hello, and thanks so much for your editing work. To my eye, none of the sources seemed to establish notability for the subject. In particular, none of them appeared to be fully independent of the subject. Please see WP:V for more information. --Noahfgodard (talk) 18:58, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for your kind reply. Maybe it's hard to judge partially because of the language. I think "UNSDSN Turkey Founding Co-Chair, Board Member" should or may fulfil the notability requirements. SDSN is an international organisation of the United Nations (see for example https://www.unsdsn.org/launching-the-sustainable-development-report-in-turkey) and to be its Founding Co-Chair is not a small issue.
- All the sources I added are official web pages of the organisations. I would appreciate a lot if you could explain a little bit further why they appear as dependent sources.
- Thanks! Maymooncuk (talk) 11:51, 19 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Maymooncuk: On Wikipedia, notability does not necessarily have to do with how important someone/something is subjectively, but how much coverage they have received from independent secondary sources. As for the sources, the fact that they are the web pages of organizations is part of the issue; they are all organizations which are directly connected to Kurnaz, as he seems to work at/with all of them. What we are looking for is independent secondary sources. These sources are, for the most part, neither independent nor secondary. This isn't to say Kurnaz definitely isn't notable, of course, but the article in its current form does not demonstrate notability. --Noahfgodard (talk) 16:36, 19 April 2022 (UTC)

Greetings.! Do you consider the recent improvements on Draft:Rachit Yadav to be sufficient to make it encyclopedic in tone? Palekates — Preceding undated comment added 04:47, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Palekates: Hello, and thank you for your edits! The sentence "He is the world record holder for writing books." seems vague and inaccurate, and some of the more promotional lines remain unreferenced. --Noahfgodard (talk) 04:53, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Noahfgodard Thank you for your feedback, can you please let me know which lines remain unreferenced. It can be helpful to improve the article. Palekates (talk) 04:58, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
- @Noahfgodard Thank you for helping me, I have made changes, so now do you consider the recent improvements and if any changes remain can you edit the article, it will be helpful for me to understand it. Palekates (talk) 05:30, 26 April 2022 (UTC)

Cheers! MichaelTheSlav (talk) 21:41, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
