Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Nldimick, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.
I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. EngVAR
[edit]- See WP:ENGVAR - Fritware uses British English, and your additions need to maintain that. Johnbod (talk) 01:08, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- Likewise WP:ERA - please maintain BC/AD style. Johnbod (talk) 04:57, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- And DON'T reformat references to remove precise page numbers - see WP:CITEVAR. References just to an article 30+ pages long don't help anyone. I'm beginning to wonder if any of your changes have improved the article at all. Johnbod (talk) 05:01, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
Upload on Commons nominated for deletion
[edit]Hi Nldimick, over on Commons I've nominated your recent upload for deletion. See here. Although the Persian bowl is very old Sotheby's doesn't appear to have published their photograph with a licence suitable for Wikipedia. Your source [1] has "© Sotheby's". -Aa77zz (talk) 14:39, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
