Speedy deletion nomination of Aquachange
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Aquachange, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Bped1985 (talk) 18:10, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

Me again
[edit]Figuring out what can stay and what can't takes a while to figure out. What you need to remember is that the topic needs to be covered in reliable sources that are independent of the subject being written about. In this case the only source was the company's press release, so that wouldn't be independent of the company. I just did a search for more coverage and only found two hits. This one at first glance looks OK but is actually a blog. Blogs can be used as reliable sources but only if the blogger is considered an expert in the field that they are blogging about. I don't know enough about fashion to know if Claire Sharp is an expert but looking at her bio Sharp here I would probably say not. The other potential source I found, here is in Korean, if necessary you can use foreign sources but it's probably not the best thing to do for your first article. Probably the best two sites to find reliable sources are [1] and [2].
If you click on User:Njckberry/Sandbox you can start new articles or just experiment in a safe place, if you like I can look them over and if OK we can move them into the main encyclopedia.
I know that it can be tricky and frustrating at first but editing here can be really fun and rewarding, so I hope you stay. Please feel free to drop me a line any time. J04n(talk page) 10:56, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
