You cannot just change format

[edit]

To @Nittany XRD

You have to follow the format used by Wikipedia, you cannot add things like a Table of contents, Introduction etc. Also you cannot have vast amounts of white space, or "Insert Figure X" here. Pages must remain readable "as is", so you need to do edits slowly preserving the readability. Have people contact me directly if needed. (I have not reverted your edits, but was tempted to and someone else may.) Ldm1954 (talk) 14:56, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much Ldm1954. As you can see, I am new and learning the proper way to do things on Wikipedia. However, I am representing a group of esteemed colleagues from the International Centre for Diffraction Data. We have actually been working on editing this page off-line for about a year. We think we have made great improvements to the text, but I need to learn how/what images we can use. the "insert figure here" is just a placeholder for myself until I figure that out. I hope you can help me! Nittany XRD (talk) 15:13, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you go to your user page, i.e., I have created a Sandbox and in that Sandbox/PXRD with a copy of what you had. Please edit this, and when you think it is in reasonable shape then ping me and I will have a look and help with editing. You can check my user page at @Ldm1954, some of the people at ICDD probably know me (Warren award from ACA & chair of IUCr CEC for some years). Ldm1954 (talk) 15:34, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
