Fair use rationale for Image:Yamadas.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Yamadas.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

License tagging for Image:SandChronicles vol1.jpg

Space Situacion

Hello, thank you for telling me about the space edit rules, I actually thought it was the correct thing to since while editing I often struggle when it came to highlight something that needed to be removed or put in another place in the article, I would often hightlight something that I did not wanted to hightlight or accidently erase it. Overcategorization

I agree, and I've gone ahead with the CfD nom at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2007 September 7#The Melancholy of POV Overcategorization. Katri, Girl of the Meadows

Wikipedia policies don't ask for Trivia sections to be removed, instead, for the information to be merged with other content within the article. You simply cannot go through articles removing these sections for you'd be removing valuable information from the article. Wikipedia does not only focus on English and original versions of films and series, especially when there's no English version to speak of. Wikipedia is open to any information that is relevant and encyclopedic. As for alternate names, there's a whole story behind foreign names, aren't those "notable"? T.W. 20:19, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

I am not simply removing Trivia (I'd have a full-time job doing that), but this 'fun facts' section only included foreign release information, which as described here WP:MOS-AM#Inclusion of non-English language release information should not be included in the article, so could not be integrated. The info is very useful on the Spanish wiki or other language wikis, but not applicable here. The wikiproject anime does only focus on the original and English release of the series. Unless there is something very remarkable about the foreign language release (like being pulled of the air for controveries as in Oniisama E... or for instance the first gay couple on Chinese tv or something) we don't include it here.
