FYI conflict of interest guideline
[edit]Hi - this confuses me - does use of a software product in 'refereed' journal papers and conference proceedings represent conflict of interest - surely by being 'refereed' does this not give 3rd party credance to the validity to notability, so required for a wiki page, regardless of the author? ie although i may have contributed to the authorship of any papers or books, the very fact this material now forms, by way of academic consensus, a larger part of academic knowledge, my view is simply a reportage? thans.nsm
