Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. OhNoitsJamie Talk 01:03, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Hello Dr. Evans. Thank you for your various contributions to Wikipedia. You have a lot of knowledge and expertise and it is great if WP and the world can benefit from your expertise. I realize that several of your contributions have been about WISE. Since you work for the institute, it would probably be good to read WP's guideline's about conflicts of interest. All this to say that if you want to add information about the organization it might be best if you suggested on the talkpage of the article. Just to let you know I've move your addition to the Wilberforce page to what I think is a better spot and used a more independent (BBC) reference. On another topic, do you know anything about the William Wilberforce picture at the Ferens gallery? We've been discussing it here and would be glad of your 2 cents or pence if you have anything to add. --Slp1 (talk) 01:32, 31 October 2011 (UTC)
