INSTRUCTOR FEEDBACK
[edit]This is a pretty advanced draft and one but I generally like very much. I would just ask you to remember that the objective is to talk about the hydrocarbon system. This seems to be a lot of text about the stratigraphy much of which is about the Paleozoic but then at the end you tell us that most of the hydrocarbons are actually in the Mesozoic so you might try to shift the balance to providing more information about those units which are actually involved in the hydrocarbon system rather than the basin in general. Perhaps make it easier to see which units are the sources, as opposed to the reservoirs or seals. You might consider having a table summarizing the stratigraphy. Can you say something about the tectonic setting in which the basin was generated? Pclift (talk) 17:45, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
Student Review - From Peter Farmer
[edit]Everything looks very in-depth stratigraphy-wise. It is hard to determine between source, seal, reservoir - Clearly marking it would be helpful. Focus more on when your basin was active hydrocarbon wise. Tectonics would also be a nice section to add a bit more data on. Otherwise there is a ton of information here which is all really good. Also, I may have overlooked it, but a bit of information on the company that researched and began production would be cool. But good work!
