Explanation for undid revision
[edit]Hello, I'm quite relatively new at this. Could you explain it to me as to why my edits were reverted hehe. I thanked you since their are few people who view what I upload in Wikimedia Commons. Thank you in advanced! AsianStuff03 (talk) 05:40, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
- oh, sorry for reverting your edit. Oh man! Actually I intended to undo another destructive edit, but I mistakenly pressed your edit to undo it. I really sorry for that. 😅 Halley luv Filipino ❤ 05:51, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
Regarding "The cake is a lie" Cebuano translation removal
[edit](i am so sorry if i wrote an entire essay, this was supposed to be sent to email but just realized that i cant email in your wiki haha)
Hello! I'm SushiWhyTee, the person who contributed to the cake is a lie Cebuano translation.
I noticed that my translation of the article was removed. I wondered why until I figured out that the article "The cake is a lie (Bakak ang cake)", which was also made by me, was actually a different article from the original altogether, so I accidentally made a new article just for the Cebuano translation.
While I was editing the article I realized, I didn't like how long "The cake is a lie (Bakak ang cake)" sounded, and removed the parenthesis. I didn't realize that that made a separate article altogether, but that's when I figured out that that was how you get translations to the original page (until it was removed for duplication, because of the other new article hahah).
I only started contributing like 1 hour ago, and I didn't know how it worked, so I apologize.
Thank you for doing your job tho <3 SushiWhyTee (talk) 07:07, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
- @SushiWhyTee: That's okay, everyone makes mistakes sometimes ^^ (even me hahaha). You can translate or write a new article (as long as it doesn't violate Cebuano Wikipedia's regulations in particular and Wikipedia's regulations in general). Thank you and have a great day! ~~ ❤ Halley luv Filipino ❤ 08:08, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
