Welcome!
[edit]Hello, Newworld2007, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:
You may also want to complete the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit the Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.
Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or , and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! Eagleash (talk) 14:12, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
Please stop changing a ref name without defining the reference. When a reference is used in multiple instances, it is given a ref name I.e. <ref name=XXXX>{{reference content}}</ref> at the first use. Then, when used again it is just only necessary to write <ref name=XXXX/>. Changing a ref name as you did here, will produce an undefined error msg. Also, changing material that is referenced without adding a source for the change will very likely be removed. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 14:25, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
- Please take note of the advice and information you have been given. If additions or changes to the article are removed as unsourced please do not just add them back. This constitutes edit warring and can result in the loss of editing privileges, irrespective of the merits of the edits. You are welcome to edit the page but you must abide by the conventions of Wikipedia particularly with regard to sourcing. Please also leave an edit summary. Eagleash (talk) 14:55, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
Always cite reliable published sources
[edit]Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Shakila Karim. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Worldbruce (talk) 14:57, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
- Again, to add to the above, please read WP:REFB to see how to correctly add references. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 22:46, 22 December 2018 (UTC)
Once again, please read WP:REFB. If you persist in ignoring advice you are given it may lead to a block. Eagleash (talk) 17:29, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
For the last time, please read WP:REFB and learn how to correctly add sources. Also read WP:RS and study the links provided above. Your recent additions to Shakila Karim have had to be removed because, as well as the references being incorrectly added, YouTube is not a reliable source for Wikipedia's purposes. Please note that competence is required in editing Wikipedia and continuing to ignore information and advice given, is not helpful to the project. Thank you. April 2019
[edit]You don't seem to have learnt much in the intervening period. Do not edit war; do not revert corrections made by other editors. Read MOS:DECADE and also understand the use of the possessive apostrophe: E.g. 'John's car' I.e. a car belonging to John. Eagleash (talk) 16:02, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Shakila Karim, you may be blocked from editing.
Type out decades in full; you have been asked to do this on multiple occasions now. Again, read WP:REFB and learn to add references correctly. Typing <ref>{{cite web|url=xxxx</ref>
is not nearly sufficient. Your failure to heed advice given is a concern. Eagleash (talk) 03:24, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
