Bodyguard of Lies
[edit]Do you know anything more about Bodyguard of Lies other than that it is a nonfiction book? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:50, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- Thank you for expanding the article on Bodyguard of Lies. However, it appears that you have copied the synopsis section verbatim from several sources, including published reviews of the book, without attributing these quotes. This constitutes a copyright violation, and cannot be allowed to stand. I will attempt to create a better, non-copyrighted synopsis. Please review my efforts to make sure that I have not missed the point. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:10, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
The article John rothchild has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. The article Maurice B. Clark has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Too few reliable sources provided or found.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. TYelliot | Talk | Contribs 14:53, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Stacey's independent bookstore
[edit]You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
A tag has been placed on Stacey's independent bookstore requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about it should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you can assert the importance of the subject, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
See the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. The Mark of the Beast (talk) 04:00, 1 January 2012 (UTC)
The article A history of warfare has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No sources.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Calabe1992 04:03, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Your addition to Geoff Tibballs has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:53, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- The same applies to John C. Miller. You can't go around copying other people's work here, unless there is evidence that they have released the material for free reuse. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:55, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
