- The talk page is the right place to carry on your debate, not the article page itself, where someone using your IP address posted, "Read the sodding talk page" (diff). Otherwise, thanks for your help on the Wiki. –Newportm (talk • contribs) 02:11, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!

Béla Károlyi
[edit]Hi. Thanks for your help on the Béla Károlyi article. I don't quite know how to contain editors such as User:198.228.216.24 short of having an admin put a semi-protect on the article. Best wishes. --- (Bob) Wikiklrsc (talk) 15:13, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi! Do you use Huggle? It's pretty fun to unleash its power. On a reversion, Huggle automatically increments levels of warnings it sends to user talk pages. After "final warning" it then automatically files a report at the Admin Noticeboard showing history of edits. It usually takes only minutes before an admin somewhere on the planet then follows up and shuts down a vandal. Thanks to Gurch (who put so much time into Huggle, and to presumably others who are working on a newest release)!. –Newportm (talk • contribs) 20:39, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hello ! I actually don't use "huggle" but likely should. Thanks for all the info. Bests. --- (Bob) Wikiklrsc (talk) 03:26, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

- P.S. I like what you have done with your talk page! Peaceray (talk) 04:14, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
The reversion was a stretch of good faith, and I therefore I believe that I mislabeled the corresponding edit. Thank you for catching my error. Rushbugled13 (talk) 19:32, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for the reply. No big deal about the edit label; the article got repaired and that's job #1. My own experience with Huggle (I haven't tried STiki) is that it's so quick and easy to revert vandalism that edit label mismatch probably occasionally happens, because pausing to select the most appropriate edit label takes a few seconds longer. At least this was on the side of good faith. Thank you sincerely for your anti-vandalism work. –Newportm (talk • contribs) 20:02, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
