Please help me with I’ve noticed two changes in Wiki recently: 8/12/18
1. It earlier became possible to see a preview of an article, or obtain the definition of a word etc, by placing the mouse arrow over its hypertext, without visiting the site. But, at least in my case, this has disappeared.
2. It used to be the case that if you clicked on Hide Contents, the Contents no longer showed for any article you opened, now you have to click Hide for each new article you open.
I really miss (1), Is it my settings that are wrong? If not, I hope its coming back. Does anyone know?

- 1. Page previews are disabled at Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-rendering ? Ronhjones (Talk) 19:35, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
- One thing that would cause these symptoms is if you had been logged out from Wikipedea in the interval between when they worked and stopped working. We can assure you that these aspects of the software have not changed on WP's side, so whatever difference you are seeing is the result of something on your end. Check your preferences as Ronhjones suggested. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 21:14, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
- The answers above are referring to a MediaWiki feature called Page Previews. There also is a Wikipedia feature called Navigation popups. You might want to try each one. They cannot be used together; it's an "either-or" setup. Scottyoak2 (talk) 21:31, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
