Georgia Tech Project
[edit]I've been working on the Paleoneurology page for my own project and I'm having trouble getting in contact with anyone in the BC group to discuss working together. I don't want to make any drastic changes to the article without discussing it with them because they have also put a lot of time and effort into the article. At the same time I'm sure that some of the changes I want to implement would make it an even better article. I know the due date is approaching for your students (ours was last Friday), but I'm very interested in getting this article to Featured Status and plan to keep working on it over the semester break. Anyway, it'd be great if you reminded your students that other wiki editors are eager to help and may have left comments and suggestions on the Talk pages. Thanks! - I've finally gotten in touch with Lauren Okada... intercollegiate collaboration has commenced!Annie.barber (talk) 03:40, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
See my comments on talk, and you should be signed up at Wikipedia:United States Education Program so that established editors can guide the class project; had there been some notification on talk, regular editors would have known this was a class assignment. (By the way, your students' work has been a cut above the usual college course editing, congrats to them!) SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:11, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- See standard template which is employed for most courses. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:12, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you, I was unaware of that page! We have been listing our work here, as many others have been doing as well working on similar projects. Maybe the two should be merged? NeuroJoe (talk) 19:47, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
Some feedback
[edit]I found some class work and responded on one article's talk page. The students are apparently not aware that a link can be pluralized by adding 's' after the [[]], as in [[tract]]s. Thank you for your careful preparation of your students. --Ancheta Wis (talk) 17:57, 6 December 2011 (UTC)
