Sauka
[edit]Hi, it would be nice to have a pic of Sauka's painting in the article. But I'm afraid there would some nasty copyright issues involved. Easiest way to put cover of any book. I think there are some albums of Sauka's paintings published, and I'm guessing they might a a picture of his painting on the cover. Maybe you have one, or know there to get one? Thanks Encyclopaedia Editing Dude 14:01, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
I have his album, i think it would be all right to scan some page. I will do that tomorrow Nercury 22:30, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- Better scan the cover of the book, because there is apropriate copyright tag for it. What are copyright tags for paintings I have no idea to be fair. Encyclopaedia Editing Dude 04:42, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- I don't have too much time at the momment, but the deal is that you can scan one of his paintings. The tag would be {{art}} and you cannot upload it on commons. You need to upload it here, on Wikipedia. It needs to be a fair use image, therefore it needs to be of low resolution. I know it's tempting to make the picture as large as possible, but that's not appropriate. Also when uploading, provide as much info as you can about the painting and about the book you scanned it from. I will take of the rest. Renata 11:15, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Help me to choose better painting from <removed> Nercury 16:28, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- By the way, all those images are form "Rimantas Dichavičius, Šarūnas Sauka: [album]. Galerija Maldis, 2001. ISBN 9955-9407-0-0" Nercury 16:35, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'd say that "Stairs" can by used in Sauka article, and Inferno in the article Hell. Thank you for your efforts, very, very much. Encyclopaedia Editing Dude 16:39, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- No probem. Could you add those images to wiki, because i ussually get confused by all those copyright choices :) Nercury 16:49, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Done :). Encyclopaedia Editing Dude 17:13, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry guys, but you cannot use Sauka's painting on Hell :( His painting can be used only on his article or article about the painting style he represents. Renata 17:23, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- What the hell :). Well, i guess Renata is right. You would have to get his permission to use it in articles or pay him. Both things - impossible. Nercury 17:30, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- I have just moved Inferno to Sauka's page Nercury 17:40, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! I have done all the formalities and no one should touch the images. Thanks again, and came visit more often! :) Renata 00:16, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Nercury. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Nercury~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
