[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Conlin-Whitehead Highway, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Alan the Roving Ambassador (talk) 18:54, 26 November 2010 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WuhWuzDat 22:13, 26 November 2010 (UTC)
Risk of speedy deletion on User: Neptunemusic
[edit]This can be deleted and could be dissapointing for me and/or make me angry. PLEASE give sources and links for my user page AND do not delete it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Neptunemusic (talk • contribs)

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Burgess Junction, Wyoming requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Your recent edits
[edit]I'm not sure what you're talking about with respect to your userpage: userpages generally aren't deleted unless they contain inappropriate content. Please remember that userpages exist to tell other Wikipedians a little bit about yourself with respect to your Wikipedia activities - they aren't alternate hosts for deleted content. Your recent edits indicate that you're a little confused about what is suitable material for inclusion on WP; all content must be verifiable and referenced to reliable sources. Wikipedia isn't a forum for general conversation about a given topic - talkpages should be used for discussion of improvement of their related articles. That's not to say that it doesn't get stretched a little but, but that's the general principle. A number of your recent contributions have been deleted because they're contextless or unsourced, or inappropriate requests to conversation. Please see WP:OWN for guidance concerning "ownership" of pages. Some of your recent edits have broken references; please be careful to respect page formatting. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have. 13:45, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

OH PSHAW!!!
Hi, Neptunemusic (talk) 21:56, 28 March 2011 (UTC)--
- Please stop experimenting with formatting here and on my talkpage - I've consolidated this page so it can be used for its function - communicating with other users about the encyclopedia. Your experiments on my talkpage broke the formatting, which I've since corrected. Acroterion (talk) 02:05, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ian & Bud
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Ian & Bud, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}

Acroterion (talk) 20:25, 1 April 2011 (UTC)- Since you appear to be using Wikipedia for nothing but inappropriate formatting tests, test pages and unhelpful alterations to templates, I've blocked you for 24 hours. You may feel free to make useful contributions when the blcok is over. If you don't, the next block will be substantially longer, or even permanent. Acroterion (talk) 20:28, 1 April 2011 (UTC)

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.

I promise I will not vandalize Wikipedia anymore --Neptunemusic (talk) 21:59, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This is a mere 24hr block. During that time, you need to fully read and understand WP:5P and all linked articles from that page. Reading and understanding should probably take about a week. You need to understand that Wikipedia is a source of knowledge, and not a game. You are right, however, that if we see any similar activity once the block expires, the next block will be at least 365 days (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:01, 2 April 2011 (UTC)

Blocked
[edit]Neptunemusic, I have indefinitely blocked your account because your contributions are not useful to Wikipedia. They only create work for other people who have to delete the unhelpful articles you create. Your contributions indicate that you are still very young. People at your age do not normally have the knowledge and other skills that are needed to write an encyclopedia. I recommend that you wait a few years until you have acquired some more knowledge and skills and then request to be unblocked, following the instructions at {{2ndchance}} to show us that you can make improvements to Wikipedia. If you believe that this block was made in error, you can contest it as described at WP:GAB. Sandstein 07:21, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
