Many thanks for your message on my talk page back in June. I'm sorry to be so late in responding. While I was pretty confident your identification of the French "thesis" was correct, I didn't think it was quite conclusive. However, when I recently consulted a copy of the French work at a local library, I found that its list of contributors confirmed your identification beyond any shadow of doubt.
