Second Succession Act
[edit]Hi. Thanks for your attempts to improve the verifiability of Wikipedia.
I am sorry, but I have had to revert your edits to the Second Succession Act article as, unfortunately, the NationMaster Encyclopedia is not a valid source. NationMaster is one of a number of websites that provides a copy of the text of Wikipedia articles. If you take a look at the bottom of the web page you linked to, you will see a small line of text stating "The Wikipedia article included on this page is licensed under the GFDL."
As the text on that page is just a copy of the text of our article it cannot be used to support the validity of any statements in our article. However you are welcome to add any other sources you find that do not rely on Wikipedia as their primary source of information. Regards. Road Wizard (talk) 09:13, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
Recent edit to Dolores Huerta
[edit]Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Dolores Huerta), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! DemocraticLuntz (talk) 22:46, 21 February 2016 (UTC)
The edit did have a citation. It uses the same citation as the previous sentence. The two together both are supported by the Snopes article. If I did this incorrectly, please make the appropriate changes. The reason that I added the sentence is that the sentence about the tweets cites the Snopes article, which judged the tweets to be false. The Wiki article failed to mention that or to disclose that others had challenged the assertion made in the tweets. Adding a statement that the assertion had been challenged by others in attendance made the Wiki article more in line with the cited Snopes article. Neoredpill (talk) 23:11, 21 February 2016 (UTC)
