Reverting Vandalism
[edit]Hi, I see you reverted an edit at List of Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom. I just wanted to remind you that it's important to check you're reverting to the last clean version - this was only one of a string of edits to that page by the same editor. (I was reverting the rest anyway so it's clean now, and I've put a message on the IP's talk page.) CarrieVS (talk) 19:00, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
That "because the inflation" anon editor
[edit]Hi, it's not the only time that such an anonymous editor is trying to play down hyperinflation, that's for sure. Check the revision history of Banknotes of Zimbabwe: all of such edits of bad grammar come from IP addresses starting with 94.189. How should I call out this user for? Vandalism? Test edits? Thanks in advance. --Marianian(talk) 19:41, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- Erm, I really have no clue! I don't know of a grammar warning template so {{Subst:Uw-vandalism}} with an explanation is all that I know of. Template names are really confusing. Nezzy (Talk)|(Editor contributions) 19:46, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- This list might help clear things up although I use an anti-vandal tool called Twinkle. --Marianian(talk) 19:50, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- That's really useful, thanks for that link. Nezzy (Talk)|(Editor contributions) 19:53, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

Inaccuracies in The Da Vinci Code
[edit]Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Inaccuracies in The Da Vinci Code, as we really appreciate your participation. However, a portion of the edit (specifically, the second paragraph you restored) had to be reverted, because that paragraph was not sourced, and Wikipedia cannot accept unsourced material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, material obtained through personal knowledge, or which constitutes the an analysis or interpretation by the editor that is not found in cited sources. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
