Hi, I recently wrote an article on MSD ignition and got some good points from QwerpQwertus (Thank you Qwerp!). Unfortunately, I am struggling to even figure out how to reply to him. This coding stuff is all new to me! I wouldn't mind learning some of this stuff, but it seems like even the tutorials are a bit out of my league; sad.
In response to what Qwerp suggested: I have some references in regards to more notability for the company. Such as being in only the second class ever inducted into the Speed Parts Hall of Fame, revolutionizing the way even OEMs design ignition systems, or even the fact that some competitors have copied their parts numbers just to be found when people are really looking for MSD. I was worried all of this might seem more like advert instead of a neutral article though. Also, if you could help me with an info box and logo or picture(s) that would be awesome! Do you have a link to the MSD ignition article? Shearonink (talk) 15:32, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- You can contact that user on User talk:QwerpQwertus - make a 'new section' there, and leave your message.
- The article in User:NeisenKR/MSD Ignition does have some concerns re. neutrality, yes; I suggest you put in a request for feedback.
- Due to the laws regarding use of non-free images, you cannot add one until the article is actually live - because, a fair-use rationale must explain which article we need to use it on.
- I will add a basic infobox, and you can add to it; see Template:Infobox company.
- For more help, you can either;
- Leave a message on my own talk page;
OR
- Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end;
OR
- Talk to us live, with this or this.
- The last of those is particularly useful - please try it; pop in now and say hello. Chzz ► 15:37, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
