Protection

Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. However there needs to be evidence of a serious problem, usually something like a couple of vandalisms a day, and even then protection is usually very brief (a few days) unless there is a long history of vandalism. That's a tough one. It's only an occasional edit, and it appears to be made in good faith (even if it is wrong). Sometimes semi-protection is used to try to get unregistered users to come to the article talk page for discussion. That'd be the only reason that article would qualify, so far as I can tell. 	The New England Wikimedia General Meeting will be a large-scale meetup of all Wikimedians (and friends) from the New England area in order to discuss regional coordination and possible formalization of our community (i.e., a chapter). Come hang out with other Wikimedians, learn more about ongoing activities, and help plan for the future! Potential topics: What is a Wikimedia chapter and should we work towards one? Planning of regular Boston meetups (any other New England cities?)
