[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Park (band), did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted (undone) by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place "{{helpme}}" on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Park (band) was changed by NearMiss1208 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.952489 on 2012-06-15T16:49:22+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 16:49, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Park (band) with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.  TOW  talk  17:38, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Park (band) with this edit. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you. This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, as seen in Park (band), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
Your edit here to Park (band) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.facebook.com/tiger-tank) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:01, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for spamming or advertising. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. In addition, you have been edit warring, which is to say that you have been repeatedly making the same edits to try to force your preferred version of an article onto Wikipedia, ignoring consensus of other editors. Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and works by cooperation, not by this sort of attempt by individuals to force their version through. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. I've commuted your block to 24 hours. Your content was in fact good; however, we have these semi-automated processes that seem to have flagged your edit as spam. However, regardless, you must not revert any pages more than 3 times in a 24-hour period, or else you'll be blocked for 24 hours. I apologise for the awful welcome that you received to Wikipedia. Conflict of interest

[edit]

Hello, NearMiss1208. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Park (band), you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. You have received this notice based upon your edit summary here [1] where you state that the band requested the update, which implies you have a potential conflict of interest due to your direct involvement with the band. Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/192.193.216.152 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 14:54, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
