Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Asaram Bapu, you may be blocked from editing. Eyesnore 02:45, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Asaram Bapu edits
[edit]You should be aware that mynews.in fails a wikipedia policy regarding the use of self published sources. In addition, another problem with your edits is that they are promotional and do not display a neutral point of view. Grayfell (talk) 02:16, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- I dont know how come the fact that - He came to India after partition is a promotion. How come adding Self Reaization in biography is a promotional edit. Can you please explain. Its important part of Asaram Bapu Biography. -- Naveentirthani (talk) 02:24, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- Find sources that meet guidelines. Self-realization and spiritual enlightenment are both very subjective and controversial ideas. If you can find reliable, secondary sources saying that he achieved spiritual enlightenment then and only then can we start to add these things to the article, but you should start with the talk-page. As it stands right now, these things are only being said by his promoters, and Wikipedia is not a place for promoting anyone's religious beliefs. As for the fact that he moved after the partition, once again, find reliable sources. Grayfell (talk) 02:42, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
- Please don't edit the article unless you concentrate the points mentioned above! And both the ToI articles mentions single events which you are misinterpreting as "general information". Don't push PoV using phrases like " His extraordinary spirituality" or capital "H" in "his". If you are unsure, don't edit and request changes in talk page of the article! --Tito Dutta (contact) 19:38, 5 April 2013 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 06:13, 6 April 2013 (UTC)
Unreliable sources
[edit]Please read Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. We DO NOT used self-published sources for edits like this:[1]. I see that you have already been blocked once for your partisan editing of that article - I suggest that you conform with policy in future, rather than having it happen again. AndyTheGrump (talk) 15:49, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
–But the source has News Paper cuttings, which doesnt have online version. Can I know why its wrong to give links like these? Naveentirthani (talk) 15:51, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- Our sourcing policy is explained in Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. If third-party sources support the claim, cite them. AndyTheGrump (talk) 15:56, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- The page I shared has News Paper Cuttings, why cant it be served as "News organizations" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Identifying_reliable_sources#News_organizations. There is nothing other than press news clippings at http://www.ashram.org/Press/PressView/tabid/912/ArticleId/3503/-MADHYA-PRADESH-SATSANG-MEDIA-COVERAGE.aspx . It shouldnt come under https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Identifying_reliable_sources#Self-published_and_questionable_sources_as_sources_on_themselves . Naveentirthani (talk) 16:05, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- I'n not interested in a long-winded debate over this. The source you gave does not conform with our policy regarding reliable sources, and that is all that needs to be said. AndyTheGrump (talk) 16:10, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- Incidentally, if the source is reproducing newspaper clippings from other sources, it is almost certainly breaching copyright in doing so - in which case we are expressly forbidden to even link such material. AndyTheGrump (talk) 16:13, 24 September 2013 (UTC)

List of Hindu gurus and saints
[edit]Asaram Bapu is already listed in List of Hindu gurus and saints. Wikipedia list articles organize by alphabetical order of name, not counting titles. Please do not include names more than once. Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 06:21, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
Template:Infobox criminal
[edit]Please read over Template:Infobox criminal. It specifically says "This template is generally reserved for convicted serial killers, gangsters, mass murderers, old west outlaws, murderers, mafia members, fugitives, FBI 10 Most Wanted, serial rapist, mobsters, and other notorious criminals." Both cases you listed seem to be scam or fraud cases, which do not fit the criteria for Template:Infobox criminal. Please continue the discussion on Talk: Asaram per WP:BRD. [edit]Your recent editing history at Asaram shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
As User:HickoryOughtShirt?4 has already explained it to you above in great detail, please do not change the infobox again without discussing. Infobox criminal is applicable here due to the rape conviction. DBigXrayᗙ 12:16, 25 December 2018 (UTC)
Final warning
[edit]It appears that you have no interest in editing an encyclopaedia but just want to do promo edits on one subject. Any further disruption and you will be blocked. —SpacemanSpiff 11:47, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
