What do the numbers in "()" mean. Some are red with a "-" sign while other are green?
- They refer to the ammount of bytes changed between edits to a page. So for example if an edit removed 10 bytes, this would show up as (-10). If 10 bytes had been added it would show up as (10). Bytes on Wikipeida are equivalent to characters, so (-10) mean ten characters were removed from the page and (10) means 10 characters were added by the edit. --sony-youthtalk 20:05, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Why did you mark this page as protected? Johnleemk | Talk 06:50, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, ok. Normally we would semiprotect the page if vandalism is an issue. Next time, it's better to put out a call for help on WP:ANI - tagging the page as protected does not actually protect it. You need an admin to help out. ;) Johnleemk | Talk 07:12, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
