User talk:Nathan hutchcraft/Patrick Geryl
There is a lot of good information here, but please look at the revisions that I've made to this entry. Among the problematic contents are the long quotations from Geryl's work. Without permission to reproduce them, these could constitute copyright violations. An encyclopedia entry needs to provide a description and summary, not direct quotations. Some additional background information on Geryl would be helpful. This is information that could be obtained by asking a reference librarian for help in finding author biographies (there are several references that provide these). Geryl's history goes back before the 2012 research and that merits mention. You can find earlier publications of his by searching other databases. Hoopes (talk) 17:18, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
This article really needs to be cleaned up further (it would be nice if you could do it yourself), reducing the repetitiveness and redundancy. I think the descriptions of the three books could be eliminated completely, with that information melded into the sections that follow. One of the subcategories should be one devoted to Atlantis. It is also essential that you include some commentary on Geryl's theories, citing reference that debunk his assertions. Hoopes (talk) 17:55, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
