Speedy deletion nomination of Via christi Health
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Via christi Health, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 14:25, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Via Christi Health requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Removing Speedy at Via Christi Health
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for taking the time to contribute.

If you don't want the article to get deleted, please click here.
The link will take you to the talk page, where you can explain why the article should be kept. If you have any questions about this or need help with editing, you can ask at the Help desk.
We really hope you'll stick around to help make Wikipedia better! Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 15:20, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion
[edit]Hey, Nate, I just wanted to drop a handwritten note here. I saw that you removed the copyrighted stuff off the page, so I've taken off the CSD tag. I can see that you're pretty determined to make this an article; that's good! But the article as it stands isn't quite up to Wikipedia standards: how about a compromise? Would it be all right if I move the page out of the main article space into your user space, for you to work on? This means that it won't be an article, but you'll have a copy of it that you can work on, like a rough draft. When you think the article's ready, you can try submitting it to our Articles for Creation process; this'll let a more experienced editor take a look at it and give you feedback before making it an article again. How does that sound? Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 15:26, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Embedded links
[edit]Please stop embedding links within the body of the Via Christi Health article. The Wikipedia guide to external links specifically points out (in the "Points to remember" section) that "External links should not normally be used in the body of an article". External links that provide more information about a topic are appropriate at the end of the article (in a section titled "External links". In the case of Via Christi, a single link to their main homepage is sufficient; readers who care to delve more deeply may then follow the internal links provided at that website. Any linking beyond that is seen as spam linking, and is to be avoided. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:48, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

[edit]I'm new here, so I feel like I'm stumbling around quite a bit. I appreciate the guidance! Nategoold (talk) 15:46, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
