Hello, I noticed that you edited the HFS article in 2019 to state that macOS Catalina no longer supports reading HFS disks. If you remember where you read this, could you please add a citation to the article? I wasn't able to find any verifiable sources stating this. Thanks and have a good one! [edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Wii U, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- ferret (talk) 00:05, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

Request reason:
Contributors cannot arbitrary block other contributors. This is not an unreliable source. Napabar (talk) 00:18, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
One unblock open at a time, please. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:51, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- It was not arbitrary. You were told multiple times that your edits weren't appropriate, but you kept making them anyways. I can confirm - I was about to undo your edits but others beat me to it. It is not appropriate to use an obscure youtuber's video to source the addition of unofficial products on a page like that. If you don't understand why, then that just shows how little you understand on our sourcing standards. Sergecross73 msg me 01:04, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
- Agreed, a YouTube channel with under 2K subscribers for a video with under 10K views, with most videos being in the hundreds of views leads me to believe there might be some conflict of interest here between this editor and the YouTube channel. Either they're promoting it on behalf of the channel or they're the creator directly trying to promote their channel. —Locke Cole • t • c 01:13, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

Request reason:
This is a community site. Just who put you in charge, exactly? Also, most of the videos on that channel are in the thousands, not the hundreds, so that just shows how little you investigated. Napabar (talk) 01:51, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that
- the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
- the block is no longer necessary because you
- understand what you have been blocked for,
- will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
- will make useful contributions instead.
Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 06:51, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

- Nobody put me in charge, however, the other two editors on this page (Ferret and Sergecross73) were put in charge by the community and are administrators on the English language Wikipedia, hence your block. As to YouTube as a source, please see WP:RSPYT: YouTube is generally considered unreliable and not used as a source. Exceptions can be made for situations where a source may meet certain criteria, but the channel you are linking to would not be an exception under any criteria I'm aware of. If you had a reliable source for the statements you're trying to add, then they may be able to be re-added. —Locke Cole • t • c 02:21, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
- This is all correct. YouTube is usable if it's used as an extension of a reliable source. For example, IGN is a reliable source, and content uploaded by their staff on the official account would be reliable. But random people? No, then YouTube is not usable - it violates WP:USERG. This is true regardless of subscriber counts or view counts. And this is only one of multiple issues with the edits. There's also whether or not it's worth mentioning at all. It's an obscure, unofficial product of little importance or impact. It's simply not a noteworthy part of the Wii U's history or function. Per WP:UNDUE and WP:INDISCRIMINATE, we are not compelled to include every little factoid in existence. Sergecross73 msg me 02:38, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
