Holvik and your Darwin Ohman source

[edit]

You can't state in Wikipedia's voice that Amanda took her own life because of attacks on her family. That might have been Darwin Ohman's opinion, but even it it were we can't state it as fact. Ohman is a reliable source only for his own views, not for facts, and in any case he doesn't make the claim your edit did. Doug Weller talk 19:32, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, Doug Weller, I much appreciate your professionalism and will be more careful! --Nanorsuaq (talk)

Kensington Runestone

[edit]

When editing Kensington Runestone you have twice changed the content of a direct quote of a source. By their very nature, a quote is a verbatim rendering of the source's text. If you disagree with the quote, you can suggest on the Talk page that it should not be included, or that more or less of the quoted text be providded, or you can suggest adding a balancing quote from a different source, but you should never change the content of a quote. Thank you for your help and for taking the time! --Nanorsuaq (talk) 21:45, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Critasirus, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dacian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 28 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
