Your Edit of 'Nadeem Azam' Listing
[edit]Thanks for your edit of Nadeem Azam. The listing has been online for several months and not one other person has seen a need to request for it to be removed.
Nadeem Azam is a notable figure in digital marketing, who has been at the heart of the industry since its earliest days in 1997. He regularly writes about digital marketing, gives talks at major conferences, appears in the media (TV, radio, print) etc. As regards the comment about no notable sources, Nadeem's appearance on the popular news channel 'Sky News' as an industry expert, demonstrates how he is perceived and this has been cited in the listing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOLJgDMGfbU —Preceding unsigned comment added by Markbristol (talk • contribs) 01:29, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
- There are plenty of articles on Wikipedia on people who don't meet the notability criteria in WP:BIO: they do get found eventually, though it can sometimes take years. If there is WP:Verifiable evidence from WP:Reliable sources supporting his notability then please do cite it. Thanks, Nanodance (talk) 06:31, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
NCUK pages can you help
[edit]Hi I am contacting you from the organisation NCUK, I am the Web Analyst and have been given the task of cleaning up the NCUK wiki entry. I am currently trying to add more content and cite the sources that relate to these subject areas. After adding a little content and looking at the citing of the wiki entry I have noticed that the page has reverted back to how it was before my edits. I noticed that the history states that you were the last one to contribute to the page. Can you offer any help with how I can go about making edits without them being reversed at a later date?
We are also looking to clear up the citation issues, any input as to how to correct these issues would be welcomed also.
Thank you
David

- Thanks for your edits. Please have a read of WP:Conflict of interest: it's going to be extremely difficult for you to edit NCUK objectively, as an employee of the organisation. Also, replacing WP:Wikilinks with external links is usually discouraged. What sort of cleanup do you think the article needs? Thanks, Nanodance (talk) 14:56, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for this information, we are just looking to have more information on the page, what with the warning messages about the credibility of the page. I was aiming to insert some text about the programmes NCUK offers around the world, and supported this claim with a link the news story. If you were to head to our website the information about the programmes we offer is there. We are currently in talks with our owner universities in encouraging them to dedicate a sec, tion or page of their websites to discussing the nature of NCUK and how we help students onto degree courses, one university that has been pro-active in doing so is Leeds Met, http://www.leedsmet.ac.uk/internat/ncuk/index.htm NCUK are aiming to have a clear web presence, and we think the information held in our wiki entry should be reflect this. Thank you, David Harrison. Web Analyst - NCUK— Preceding unsigned comment added by Watchinharrison (talk • contribs)
- Sounds good, but I'd recommend you first read up on WP:Neutral point of view and WP:Advertising, to make sure the article doesn't turn into a brochure. Please ask if you'd like any more help on this. Thanks, Nanodance (talk) 08:38, 7 September 2010 (UTC)

- Feel free to create a new article on Fox Run, Texas, but don't replace content in articles with your resume like you did at Mark Gregory Pegg. Nanodance (talk) 08:36, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
Faversham House Group
[edit]Hi there, re: your proposed deletion of Faversham House Group. I added a note to the talk page of it, but would appreciate your advice on what steps I should take to get this in better shape? I know conflict of interest exists, but I'm only interested in putting up a neutral article and am happy to remove anything that is considered to be not so. I'm also looking for references to add over the next few days. I've just updated an incorrect link to an environmental ISO certificate the company gained. As the company publishes 15 UK magazines, and organises several nation exhibitions including a huge multi-day effort at the NEC, I think it is of interest enough for inclusion, no? Thanks! - Thanks, I've replied at Talk:Faversham House Group but feel free to post here if you prefer. Nanodance (talk) 12:08, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion declined: World Careers Network
[edit]Hello Nanodance. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of World Careers Network, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: listed on LSE is a bare assertion of notability. Thank you. Kimchi.sg (talk) 23:55, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, I guess that's true. Not to worry, I've taken it to AFD. Thanks, Nanodance (talk) 07:06, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from David michael close, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Cindamuse (talk) 14:39, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- Kindly read the edit history: I did not create the article. Nanodance (talk) 14:40, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- I understand the confusion. Unfortunately, the speedy deletion notice template is a boilerplate message that cannot be edited. Cindamuse (talk) 14:48, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
- If you're using an automated tool like Twinkle, then you need to tag articles manually in situations like this, to avoid sending false warnings. Nanodance (talk) 14:49, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
