Message from Wikipedia
[edit]Dear Noor,
This is the message I received from Wikipedia, please check your work. Thank you.
Possible plagiarism detected on Wikipedia Wikipedia's plagiarism detection system picked up an edit from one of the students enrolled in MIT 398 Intercultural International Communication . Nalthani made this change to the article "Museum of Islamic Art, Doha", which Turnitin/iThenticate matched to published text. These reports are not 100% accurate. For example, a direct quote with proper attribution may trigger a false positive plagiarism report. Please review the student's contributions and the details of the report before taking any action. (If you find that the change — or the entire article — is not accessible, the content may have been deleted for copyright reasons.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bakdenizli (talk • contribs) 07:00, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Museum of Islamic Art, Doha
[edit]Hi! I wanted to let you know that I removed some of the content you added to the page, specifically the list of past exhibitions and the times of operation. The reason for this is that this is considered to be content that is a bit too specific and indiscriminate for Wikipedia's purposes. With Wikipedia, the content is more meant to be a general overview of the most notable aspects, so the more mundane aspects are kind of seen as a bit too much detail. The only exception would be for the exhibitions, if any of the exhibits were particularly noteworthy and received coverage in independent and reliable sources. I hope this doesn't make you lose heart! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:13, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
some of the content you added was copied from the museum website, and thus was a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policy. Please don't add copyright material to Wikipedia. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:21, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
