Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Abu Mansur al-Maturidi are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines, not for general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Information icon Hello, I'm HistoryofIran. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ismail al-Jazari, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 16:17, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ismail al-Jazari, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. HistoryofIran (talk) 16:32, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That so? Then please explain how you're following WP:CITATION, WP:VER and WP:RS. And don't make any more comments on me (WP:ASPERSIONS/WP:NPA). HistoryofIran (talk) 16:53, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As I thought. Next time you will get reported to WP:ANI. HistoryofIran (talk) 16:55, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ismail al-Jazari. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. HistoryofIran (talk) 16:46, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
