[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Defendo. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Nate1481( t/c) 13:31, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
- My problem was with the tone of the bit you added 'It has grown from strength to strength and has been practiced from young to the old' has an inherently biased ring to it. --Nate1481( t/c) 17:12, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- That version sounds much better, if you could provide an independent account (e.g. a newspaper article) then that would be great! --Nate1481( t/c) 14:29, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Mods
[edit]Wikipedea doesn't have moderators as such, anyone can edit anything, so articles are written an edited through collaboration, so everyone acts as a moderator. There are Admins who have extra powers but their main function is house keeping. --Nate1481( t/c) 14:29, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
