[edit]

Hi, Nailsnailsnails, I just wanted to drop you a note to explain why I reverted your edit to Ponary massacre. Basically, your text was more or less directly copied from the source you cited, https://yalebooks.yale.edu/book/9780300108538/ponary-diary-1941-1943. This text is protected under copyright laws, so copying them directly into Wikipedia is not allowed. The relevant policy page is WP:COPYRIGHT, but the nutshell is that basically, any text we write on Wikipedia should be written in one's own words. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Writ Keeper  16:04, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits are minor

[edit]

See WP:MINOR for when to tag your edits as minor. Also, Edit summaries are typically just a few word, not sentence after sentence... David notMD (talk) 21:50, 16 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

MOS regarding pronouns

[edit]

Regarding your edit on Credit bureau, please note that we generally don’t use “you” to address the reader in articles (see MOS:YOU). Northern Moonlight | ほっこう 14:56, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
