Proposed deletion of Repulsive Conception (album)
[edit]The article Repulsive Conception (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Album from a band whose notability is unclear.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Blanchardb -Me•MyEars•MyMouth- timed 00:56, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Album articles
[edit]When you write an album article, please follow the manual of style per WP:ALBUM. A track listing should look like this:
- "Name of Song" (Joe Anybody, Dave Anybody, Richard Someone, Michael Mysteryman) – 3:49
- "Name of Next Song" (J. Anybody, Someone) – 4:39
- "Name of Third Song" (Mysteryman) – 9:43
- "Name of Fourth Song" (Roe, D. Anybody) – 9:34
and so on.
Use the full name of the writer the first time, and only the last name the second time, unless you need to use a first initial or full name to disambiguate. For instance, in the above example, I've used "D. Doe" for the second song written by Dave Anybody, since John Anybody also wrote one song. If they were John and Jeff Anybody, you'd have to use the full name both times since both names begin with J. Using the full name the first time makes it easier to create a link if the writer has an article, and it makes the article look more complete.
Also, please don't forget to categorize by artist and label (for instance, I just added Category:RCA Records albums and Category:Keith Whitley albums to L.A. to Miami). Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 18:38, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
George Ducas (album)
[edit]Please don't forget to pipe your links. You had it linking to George Ducas instead of George Ducas (singer). Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 16:06, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
Another Way to Go
[edit]May I ask why you addded the "(Radney Foster album)" to the end? There was nothing else called "Another Way to Go," so the "(Radney Foster album)" wasn't needed. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 01:32, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Rose Colored Glasses (album)
[edit]I have nominated Rose Colored Glasses (album), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rose Colored Glasses (album). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Lil-unique1 (talk) 16:45, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
Dr Feelgood
[edit]I've noticed that you've been making some edits to the Dr Feelgood article. They have been constructive and useful to the page, however, I would like to point you in the direction of WP:ALBUM. If you have a look at the Article Body section and tracklisting you will see how the Wikipedia guidelines show to lay out the tracklisting of an album. The reason I mention this is that you have been adding copyright information after every track, which does not meet the guidelines and can cause clutter on the page. You are more than welcome to continue editing the page, but you should look at removing the copyright information from each. If I have some spare time later I can have a look at it too. Tennessee Plates
[edit]I see no reason to add publisher info for each song; that's kinda WP:IINFO. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 01:15, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
The article Dead Waters (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The album does not meet the criteria for album notability (namely, has not been the primary subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the artist or publisher of the album)
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}

The article Devastation of Musculation has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NALBUM, lacks any reliable coverage in independent sources. Discogs is not an acceptable source and the Allmusic entry is just a listing no professional reviews.
