Nation of Islam article

[edit]

Hey there. All I meant by my comment "This needs to be integrated better" is that the prose you added was a bit awkward as it seemed intended to only contradict everything around it and not provide an alternate interpretation of the subject. That's just not encyclopedic writing. But now as I look at the rest of the article it does claim throughout that there is a theological connection between NOI and Islam proper. If you think this is false then you need to find a better way to integrate that information into the article. You could probably do this in a separate section in the article but regardless of where you put the information you need to supply reliable sources to back up your claims. That the evidence is readily available "out there" is not sufficient, Wikipedia policy requires that you provide those sources in your edits. And just so you know, I know very little about NOI or Islam and don't have a horse in that race, all I saw in your edit is that it wasn't written in a very encyclopedic manner. The content might be 100% correct but it just wasn't added in accordance with Wikipedia's standards. SQGibbon (talk) 03:36, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
