Re:[[Budapest]is
Gubbubu 10:02, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
Good then, thanks for reverting. But I'm phobic I must negotiating your interrogation about reverting anonym edits, I have no idea, and because of the maximal complicatedness of english help system I have no conception about that where I could check it. Gubbubu 10:02, 17 October 2005 (UTC)

RfC against 86.105.71.34
[edit]Hi Tibi,
I'm putting together an RfC against anonymous user 86.105.71.34, who I think has engaged in several types of misconducts on Wikipedia, especially on Transylvania, Romania, Republic of Moldova, Romanian language. I'm writing to you because you attempted to solve one or more of those issues on the user's talk page. If you endorse this RfC, or have anything to add to the statement of dispute, please sign and share your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/86.105.71.34. Thanks, IulianU 00:05, 2 November 2005 (UTC)

Municipiul in Hungarian
[edit]Szerbus Tibi! I'm currently working on a Romanian localities project for Wikipedia, both Romanian and English versions, and as you know, in Romania there is a law that states that all localities where an ethnic group makes up over 20% of the population, the language spoken by that group becomes a working language of local government. There are various localities in Romania that meet this requirement in regards to the Hungarian language. Due to this, the name on the infobox must be in both Romanian and Hungarian, as at Salonta or Oradea. So - I would like to know what the word for "Municipality" is in Hungarian. In Romania, Municipality is a status given to larger towns. The Romanian name is "municipiu". Currently, at the Salonta page there is "Municipiul Salonta" and just "Nagyszalonta". It needs to read "Municipality of Salonta" in Hungarian. Thanks, Ronline 07:56, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
- Hi! Thanks for following this up. So, from what I gather - is it OK just to list the Hungarian name of the city without "municípium"? In public administration here (correspondence from the City Hall) I have seen just "Nagyvarad" - that's why I asked! Ronline 06:39, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
Hungarian wiki message
[edit]Thank you for the greeting at the Hungarian wiki. I probably will only use that account to add interwiki links, but I am thankful for the welcoming. In case you are unaware, Halibutt is going through the administrator vote process. I believe that any input you could provide would be valued. Olessi 07:53, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit]Then can you please put the link http://index.hu/tech/net/orkut0603/ on the article so it asserts its notability? Though the source is in Hungarian, it's okay. See WP:WEB for more info. Thanks. -- Perfecto 00:36, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Collaboration
Translation request
[edit]Hey Tibi,
I need a bit of help from a native speaker of Hungarian. We are putting together a portal page for the Romanian Wikimedia local chapter at http://www.wikimedia.ro , and would like to have the text in as many languages spoken in Romania as possible. Could you translate the following bit of text into Hungarian, please?
Imagine a world in which every single person is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge. That's what we're doing. And we need your help. Wikipedia in Hungarian
(it's actually Wikimedia Foundation's slogan. Well, we'll work out something more substantive later :-) )
Thanks! Iulian U. 14:31, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
[edit]Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:55, 14 March 2011 (UTC)
Hungarian help needed
[edit]Hello Nagytibi, I'm contacting you because we need some Hungarian translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on hu.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Hungarian Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Thanks for your time, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 01:08, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
