[edit]

Hello, Naanjee44, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

data discourse article

[edit]

Hi, I see you moved your article to the mainspace. There is an issue with your contribution in that the article lacks a lead section. A Wikipedia article is supposed to start with a lead section that summarizes all the major points of the article. It should generally open with something like Article title is... and go on to succinctly say what the topic is in the opening sentence. The remainder of the lead needs to summarize all the major points of the article, in proportion to the way they're covered in the body of the article. Nothing should be in the lead that's not discussed in more depth in the article body. If you have a look at pages 7-9 in the Editing Wikipedia brochure which I have linked to here, you can learn more about article layout. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 23:22, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
