Welcome to my talk page! Please do not bring discussions here from other pages. Please use diffs when talking about edits. This page is archived regularly. If you leave me a message on my talk page, I will reply on my talk page, so you may want to watch this page. I will not continue to watch a talk page if the discussion has migrated. I don't check my watchlist regularly. I don't always add talk pages to my watchlist if I comment on them, unless it's a user talk page or I started an important discussion. Thank you.

Malicious Redirects?

I wanted to look up the Mazda 6 and i was redirected to Mazda A something. I was confused and read the talk page where there was a consensus on having the page titled Mazda 6. I reverted the vandalism of others and would appreciate it if you would change it back to the correct title, the Mazda 6. it may be okay to have it with the other name on say the japan article, but when the entire english speaking world knows it as the 6, its what the english article should be name.71.174.200.210 (talk) 03:18, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

No, I'm sorry. I didn't take the time to read the talk page. Next time, please use an edit summary so that RC patrollers can tell that your edits are not malicious. Go ahead and revert me. --Thinboy00 @181, i.e. 03:20, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Vote for a post-meetup restaurant

I'm charged with making the reservations for us, so let's make it official. We'll do this via voting and everyone including anonymous voters, sockpuppets, and canvassed supporters is enfranchised. Voting irregularities and election fraud are encouraged as that would be really amusing in this instance. Please vote for whichever restaurant you would like to eat at given the information provided above and your own personal prejudices at Wikipedia:Meetup/NYC#Let's make it official. The prevailing restaurant will be called first for the reservation. If a reservation cannot be obtained at the winning restaurant, the runner-up restaurant will be called thus making this entire process pointless. Voting ends 24 hours after this timestamp (because I said so). ScienceApologist (talk) 17:19, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

RE:UAA

It's ok, all is well. And at least it was a funny mistake. :) Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 04:26, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

What am I doing? The page is gone it's vandalism (attack page), I don't get what you're asking.--The Dominator (talk) 05:02, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

I was just wondering about the needless changes to the speedy template. --Thinboy00 @254, i.e. 05:05, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry about that, still learning to use them properly.--The Dominator (talk) 05:06, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Martin & Megan

Please do not dele Martin & Megan for atleast a day. Thank you from a retired Veteran from NAM. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ceoofsweden (talkcontribs) 13:58, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

I am not a sysop, so I cannot delete articles. Furthermore, I did not request that deletion. Nevertheless, someone else did, and it was deleted by a sysop. Next time, please do not remove the speedy tag. Instead, add {{hangon}} below it and explain why you think it should not be deleted. In my experience, sysops tend to listen to these rationales, if they are reasonable, even if they violate the letter of policy, so long as they respect the spirit of the policies and guidelines. On the other hand, removing it tends to make sysops less inclined to listen, though of course it is not the sole determining factor. If you want time to write a page without it being deleted, you might try your userspace instead, particularly subpages. Try writing one here or here. Generally, the userspace has greater freedom, though with some limits, mostly for the sake of sanity, and legal reasons. Of course, it can be deleted following community consensus at WP:MFD, but consensus is not the same as 100% support votes -- see WP:DEMO and WP:CON. --Thinboy00 @896, i.e. 20:30, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Deleting page

you can go ahead and delete Wikipedia/Sandbox if you admin Runningblader (talk) 02:47, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

I'm not, but if you want it deleted, please replace the content with {{db-author}}. --Thinboy00 @159, i.e. 02:49, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Protection

Just so you know, I have semi protected Louisiana Purchase for one week. If this fails to stop the vandals, then contact me. Thanks, Malinaccier (talk) 00:06, 29 January 2008 (UTC).

Thanks... I'm an RC patroller. Although I added the article to my watchlist, I might not be the first to notice vandalism there... --Thinboy00 @048, i.e. 00:09, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
