Thanks Spicy for helping me reviewing my first Wikipedia article! Much appreciated ~~~~
- Sorry, while reviewing the sources I realized that large parts of the article are copied from a copyrighted PDF, which didn't show up in my preliminary checks while reviewing the draft. I had to remove the content and return the article to draftspace. Please rewrite the article in your own words and resubmit; Wikipedia cannot accept copyright violations. Dear Spicy, do you refer to the exhibition booklet by the Flanders Architecture Institute of 2018? Together with my collegue Bart Tritsmans, I was the curator of the show and provided the texts of the booklet. We now prepared together the text for the ENG Wikipedia on Stynen because we noticed this page did not yet exist. How should this be best arranged regarding the copyrights of the text? Thanks for your advice. ~~~~
- Yes, that's correct. Since you are the copyright holder of the text, you can donate it through the process described at WP:Donating copyrighted materials. Note, however, that the terms of Wikipedia's licensing allow anyone to reuse the text for any purpose, including commercial purposes, so if you are not okay with that the other option is to paraphrase the text. Spicy (talk) 10:24, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
- Oh, by the way, to sign your posts, just type four tildes - if you use the {{code}} bits it won't show up. :) Spicy (talk) 10:25, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
@Spicy: Thanks for the information! I will check if this is possible. Thansk for the advice and tips NSerulus (talk) 10:36, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
