Welcome students from Nanjing Normal University

[edit]

1, Hello. Are you a student at Nanjing Normal University? If you are I want to say hello.

2, My name is Anna. I live in Haikou, Hainan. I come from Canada.

3, I can help you if you need.

4, Don't worry. Be brave. You can write. No problem.

Some good things to help you:

1, Look at other articles. See how they organize it. Copy the style.
2, Use the information you get for your article, and write it in your words.
3, Don't use baike. It is not professionally written.
4, Put this at the end of the sentences or paragraphs to show where the information comes from:
<ref>example-website.com</ref>
5, Put this at the bottom of your article:
==References==
{{reflist}}

Hello, and thank you for your article. I'd like to give you a friendly reminder that on Wikipedia, articles should be supported by independent, reliable references to show that the topic of the articles are notable. Basically, you should use things like newspaper / magazine articles (or their websites), books, and other reputable sources (research papers from universities, for one) to

  1. back up what you are saying, and
  2. show that what you're talking about deserves an article.

It is okay to use sources like the club's website to back up hard facts (where the club is, etc.), but you need to use independent sources if you are trying to show that the topic is noteworthy, or if you are saying something subjective.

As it is, your article might get deleted. Please improve it based on what I have said above. If you need any help, feel free to leave me a message or join the help chatroom. Good luck! wctaiwan (talk) 16:16, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I see that an admin has deleted the page. Please work on the version in your userspace at User:NNU-2-TangJie/Heilan Equestrian Club and only move it back when you have addressed the issues. wctaiwan (talk) 02:45, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Heilan Equestrian Club requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 19:24, 20 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Use Spaces
Spaces usually come after punctuation marks.
Instead of this:
  • I like bunnies(rabbits).They are not only cute,but friendly too.
Try this:
  • I like bunnies (rabbits). They are not only cute, but friendly too.

Your article was deleted because it didn't explain why the club was really important enough for an encyclopedia article. Someone suggested that I move it into your userspace instead of deleting it, but then I found that you had already done just that by writing at User:NNU-2-TangJie/Heilan Equestrian Club. Please do recreate the article, as long as you first demonstrate that the club is important and back up the demonstration with citations to reliable sources. Protect Your Article
1. Putting lots and lots of references into your article protects it from being deleted.
2. Put references in your article like this example:
Rabbits are cute.<ref>http://www.about-rabbits.com</ref>
3. Add this to the bottom of the article:
==References==
{{reflist}}
4. Don't use Baidu.baike, Hudong, Tianya and sites that are not professionally written.
5. Write in your own words. Just the facts. Don't copy and paste.
6. Make your article style like other articles.
