Speedy deletion nomination of XiMuRong
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on XiMuRong requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Inks.LWC (talk) 04:48, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- Hi! I'm an administrator here on English Wikipedia. I saw the request to delete this article, but since I saw it was created as part of the NNU project, and there seemed to be something useful there, I looked for some sources myself. I re-wrote basically the whole article, and added one source that I found. As Anna's message said to you above, one thing that is absolutely necessary for all Wikipedia articles is that they have reliable sources that verify the information in the article. This is how we tell the difference between real, important information, and information that people just made up or isn't important enough to be in an encyclopedia. So, I wanted to get at least a little bit of information into the article so that it didn't have to be deleted. Take a look at the changes I made. What the article really needs now is more verified information. Do you know of any articles (especially articles in academic journals or major national newspapers) that talk about her or her work? Adding those would help show Xi's importance. As a small note, I moved the article to the proper name--we should have spaces between given and family names in our article titles. I think this is the correct title, based on the reference I found, but if you think it's still wrong, let me know. I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Qwyrxian (talk) 06:25, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
The article XiShi Dong has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- I cannot find any sources for XiShi Dong Cave on Google, so it violates WP:GNG.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Inks.LWC (talk) 05:39, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Yixing bamboo: Please help your article
[edit]Please read the pink boxes on this page. Please see Yixing bamboo. It looks like you used translation software. I has no references. It is very, very messy. I will paste it here and reduce the article to a sentence. It is not fit to be part of the encyclopedia right now:
- Lots of bamboo forests surrounded by mountains, with water between the mountain ranges around,and a lake is clear as a mirror. Sungai Bamboo, Yixing Bamboo, China Bamboo Sea are well-known bamboo forest landscapes in China.
- Yixing Bamboo is located in Yixing city ,which is at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces,known as the" Chinese famous pottery, Taihu scenic tourist city" .What's more,Yixing is called the " bamboo ocean"because it abounds in bamboo.
- Zhuhai Stretches for eight hundred miles,ranges from Su to Zhe 、Anhui provinces, about hundreds of thousands of acres. Bamboo Sea Scenic Area is located in the center of the scenic spot area 。And it covers ten thousand mus, is named as " the first in East China Sea"," the first Taihu source" and" the first peak in South of Jiangsu ". Also it is representative scenic spot of China's bamboo landscape and bamboo culture.
- Yixing Bamboo has a natural landscape and cultural ecology, Ji Zhao Temple's religious culture, and there is "Breeze hole "(Qing Feng)cave culture, bamboo garden bamboo culture, geographical and cultural border provinces dig all Yixing place full of culture and style. Bamboo Scenic culture everywhere, the landscape everywhere show.Primary service area by the gate, Mirror Lake area, jade gallery area, water features waterfall, bamboo park, sea area, a small sea in the sea, floating around the boardwalk area, the Millennium Temple area, tea lounge, etc.

2 more unfit creations
[edit]Please also look at these. You made them. I kindly posted a pink box on your page above to help you with spaces. I guess you didn't see it. These articles are also not fit for the encylopedia. No references, no spaces, completely different from the way articles are put together, and probably just converted from Chinese with software.

XiShi Dong
[edit]The article XiShi Dong has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
- I noticed that someone had proposed this article for deletion previously and you removed the proposed deletion tag without giving any reason. You must give a reason for why it should not be deleted on the articles talk page. For an article to be notable to be on Wikipedia it has to have multiple secondary sources establishing that notability. HotshotCleaner (talk) 21:34, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
